Olesya Shport, the winner of the international hairdressing championships, has created a business whose main rules are professionalism, impeccable quality and high service.

Olesya, please tell us about your journey. How did you come up with the idea of opening a salon?
My professional path was not easy. I am a master with a lot of experience. I started with a famous beauty salon, where I worked and studied.
I watched how great masters, multiple world champions, work, what kind of guests go to them, and I wanted to be like them.In that salon, I went through, as they say, fire, water and copper pipes. There was a lot of stress and a lot of tears. But this path is valuable, and I am grateful to each of my teachers.
Can you tell us about your professional regalia?
I am a participant and winner of many competitions, a champion in hairdressing in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Russia, a prize-winner of the European Championship, as well as the 2014 world champion (Germany). My clients include stars of the film industry, show business, politicians and artists.
With such work experience, I went beyond “just a good master” and wanted something more. That’s how the idea to open your own salon was born. But not just a salon, but a beauty space in which service, quality and affordable prices will be the main thing.
How would you describe the concept of your salon? What was the main thing for you when you came up with it?
For a long time I imagined what it would be like, I wanted to take into account all the details. I wanted to combine a luxurious interior, high professionalism of the staff, perfect service, and premium cosmetics in my project. To create a salon in which it would be pleasant for both guests and staff.
There is another feature that distinguishes our salon from many others — this is the age limit, we accept guests from the age of 16.
Why was this decision made?
Children need a special approach. And many guests, coming to the salon, want not only to receive a service, but also to relax from the hustle and bustle of the city in a calm atmosphere, for example, to drink a glass of champagne, which we treat each of our guests.
Why did you choose Moscow City for your salon?
I have been working at Moscow City since 2014. This is practically my second home. It has its own microclimate and its own atmosphere. There is a high concentration of successful and business people in the City, and I am used to working with just such people.
How do you plan to develop your business?
We want to create our own network and develop the LS brand. One of the destinations is Dubai. Today, most of our guests are located there, and many have business in Dubai.
And they turn to me with a request to open a salon there in order to receive the professional services they are already familiar with and a high level of service in their new permanent location.
Today, the LS team consists of top craftsmen whose work meets the highest quality standards. All of them are real “stars” in their fields, who have achieved amazing results in the profession and continue to develop.
